Round-head ratchets are 45 tooth design. Single pawl delivers 8˚ arc, double pawl gives 90 tooth action on 4-1/2˚ of arc. Pear shaped ratchets are so compact they are the same head size as most 3/8" drive ratchets. This drop-forged unit is strong and versatile enough to be used as a scaffold hammer. It is highly favored in high dirt situations because it is so easily cleaned
